For organizations heavily invested in the Google Cloud and Google Workspace ecosystem, Agentspace offers seamless first-party Google data ingestion. This allows your agents to directly access and utilize data from services including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Google Drive, Gmail, Google Sites, Google Calendar, Google Groups, NotebookLM Enterprise, Cloud SQL, Spanner, Firestore, Bigtable, AlloyDB for PostgreSQL, and Terraform.

Google Agentspace includes prebuilt expert agents like Deep Research for comprehensive information gathering, Idea Generation for brainstorming solutions, and NotebookLM Plus for making enterprise information more approachable. You can also create custom agents using the Agent Designer interface.

The Agent2Agent Protocol (A2A) is the underlying communication and coordination mechanism that allows different, specialized agents to discover each other, exchange information, negotiate tasks, and collaborate seamlessly. Agentspace is the environment or platform where agents live and interact, and A2A is the protocol for how agents work with each other to fulfill a user's request, like sourcing candidates or running background checks, without the user having to manage each step manually.
